Kachina 's drop their first release in over a year and since the epic 'A Girl Like Me' Remix EP on Affectionate Grooves featuring a star-studded remix lineup with heavyweight house music legends Miguel Migs (Salted Music), Osunlade (Yoruba Recordings) and UKG / Bassline heavyweight DJ Q.

This time out Kachina features on NexGen Music sub-imprint Migration Recordings , which is typically known for its 'darker' approach to underground dance music.

Title track 'Trust' features long-time NexGen vocal artist Lyndsey Murray who brings her distinct gritty soulful vibes and probing lyrics to mesh effortlessly with Kachina's signature UKG sound.

Stepping up the pace is bouncy roller 'Energy,' delivered to you fully-packaged with pulse, squelch and funk.

'Code Green' takes things up a couple of notches with an intro reminiscent of classic old skool house vibes that quickly transitions into a full-on dance floor banger. Bass tones sweep effortlessly across three octaves to compliment high-energy 4/4 beats, with the icing on the cake provided by vox chops reminiscent of yesteryear rave parties.

Rounding out the EP is moody UKG/Bass roller 'Make U Scream' which gravitates to the chiller side of things while still packing some serious punch in the bottom end. Don't sleep on the catchy "we're gonna make you scream" vox snippet (it will get inside your head, TRUST!). This piece is a definite head-nodder and doff of the cap to the "chin-stroker" massive... It also works well as a perfect DJ and MC lyrical improv tool.
