We're delighted to drop our sixth release on Affectionate Grooves , with the 'Hypnotize' EP — an absolute EPIC production from Kachina featuring Nikki Marie , Afua and Random Trio.
Kachina are receiving major support across radio, clubs, and press with the likes of Toddla T, Monki, Charlie Tee, Complex UK and Data Transmission all supporting their tracks as well as recently recording a VIP mix for DJ Monki’s BBC Radio 1 show .
‘A Girl Like Me’ is a deep dance-come-house track laced with the infectious lyrics of London vocalist, Nikki Marie. The track has been getting HUGE daytime radio support on BBC Radio, London FM, Pop Shop FM, Clubland FM and more. ‘A Girl Like Me’ (Sunday Mix) provides us with a rolling UK Garage rework, bringing us more shuffle, bass and club-like vibe.
‘Thinking About You’ represents the more uplifting side of Kachina with some sunshine vocals from regular Affectionate Grooves collaborator, Afua, who also headlines the EP title track ‘Hypnotize’ — a melodic and melancholic dance floor slammer, packing some low-end punch alongside a mystical eastern theme.
Last but not least ‘Way Back Home’ (Kachina VIP) sees a deep UK Garage rework of Roqqert’s killer track, turning it into a deep and brooding roller.
